Maybe a little off-topic, but I can't seem to find why the missions are scan-able by characters who aren't offered this mission.
If I remember correctly a dev or GM said it was intended, but the lack of explaining why it is intended makes me wonder if it's just a glitch in the software system or maybe even the design, and if it has to be rewritten prolly takes too much time... (I.E. "Not another variable in the code, it makes it even more hard to read...)
Maybe it would help if we get a pass from our agent which allows only the people that are offered the mission, which opens the gate for like 15 seconds or so in case you want to go in with a gang
Or maybe just the gang members can jump thru the gate.
I mean, the most things I read about the mission runners, is that they don't like being chased around in a mission by a pirate that thinks he needs to grief... ( or are there mission runners that do like this?)
There still are people who like the semi to none pvp style of playing when they come home from work just to relax and shoot some rats in a mission and so on...
And according to the most forum posts, mission runners are mostly asking if they can run mission "X" solo and what they should fit on their boats...
Offcourse people will now reply (especially the piwates and the griefers) that it must remain this way, but they don't cope with the fact that you are running missions with a mission fitting, and not a pvp fitting with scramblers and such, prolly even a tank which is "only" meant for the kind of rats you are encountering, and also doing the damage that hurts the rats the most.
Once jumped in as a piwate, you will check what rats there are, go back to station or pos, refit with the right damage which the mission runner is worst against, fit with the right tank get out of the station and warp back to the BM and grief the mission runner...
With the knowledge what the mission runner needs to complete the mission (check eveinfo.com or so), steel that loot (what the mission runner must give to the agent) and kill the mission runner...that is what piwates and griefers do for fun...
